Sleipnir with runes

My second (and last) chip carving of Sleipnir by SceithAilm - sceithailm.deviantart.com
This carving was created and done mostly for demonstrative purposes of chip carving technique during last summer,
the randomness of Celtic knots in the original artwork makes great lessons. 

Futhark is carved on the rim of the plate, the piece is 12'' and is done in basswood, finished with dark mahogany gel stain.
